Brigham’s birthday party theme was so fun I thought I should share some details and photos of it!
Brigham has always had a mind of his own and loves to create things. He is always so proud of the artwork he brings home so I thought it would be fun to have an art-themed birthday party! This is not surprising as his father is a very talented artist himself. His first major in college was actually art before he decided on the healthcare field.
Thanks to Social Artworking we were able to throw an awesome art-y party! They sent us everything we needed for the kiddos to have fun – canvases, easels, brushes and paint! We looked through all of their Social Artworking Junior Designs, which were perfect for the five to six-year-old age range. Brigham chose “friendly fox” because he loves the song What Does the Fox Say?
I’m about to throw a lot of photos at you but I wanted to show you all the details and pops of color!
The amazing cake courtesy of my friend from high school.
Take-aways for the kiddos.
Goodie buckets were filled with sidewalk chalk, crayons, mini paints and paintbrushes + a fun straw and balloon.
I tried to use the paintbrush theme throughout the details.
I got the idea to put a roll of paper down instead of a tablecloth – that way the kids could draw to their heart’s content!
Primary colors everywhere!
The bummer was the party was supposed to be outside but then it started raining. Thank God for my neighbors who at the last minute let us borrow tables and helped set up. I was freaking out a little bit ;)
Social Artworking sent a reuseable design and transfer paper. I have a very good husband who lovingly transferred the foxes to each canvas so they would be ready for the kids.
Look at all our little Picassos!
And I just had to share this photo because you’ll notice that Brigham’s painting looks NOTHING like a fox. Atta boy, Brigs. Coloring outside the lines is encouraged in this house :)
And there you have it – Brigham’s beautiful art-themed birthday party! Word to the wise – buy plenty of smocks and hand wipes!
Thanks again to Social Artworking for sending us all the amazing supplies for a successful art-themed birthday party!
